Sealed Air Innovations Can Drive Societal Change To Impact World Food Shortage
Sealed Air Corporation (NYSE: SEE) participated in today’s Economist Feeding the World event in Amsterdam addressing how packaging innovation can help improve food access, food security and reduce food waste.
Sealed Air was a Gold sponsor of the Economist Feeding the World Event which took place on 12 February, 2015. The event brought together industry leaders to drive actions to address important societal changes that must occur in order for the global issue of hunger to be resolved. Sealed Air’s VP of Sustainability, Dr Ron Cotterman, spoke on a panel specifically discussing the innovations Sealed Air brings to the industries it serves that directly impact these issues. “We are aware of the challenges, and know that we must make change, but there are challenges to doing the right thing to bring about these changes.
